| The historic Jordaan district houses in amsterdam
The Jordaan is one of the most charming, sung about and certainly the most romanticised neighbourhood in Amsterdam. Originally established for the working class in the 17th century, the district is now home to many students, artisans and young professionals. The Jordaan is made up of two parts: the north and south Jordaan, separated by the Rozengracht. Both areas are excellent for shopping, strolling along the canals or sitting in a quaint cafe or restaurant. |
