| I visit Golcuk every winter with my friend, doruk. This photo is from our first trip.
Actually when I first saw the scene, I couldn`t believe that it can be real. It was so beautiful. There was about 30 to 40 cm thick snow on the ground, but we decided to walk around the lake. The weather wasn`t too cold and we could fell the freshness of it within our lungs. The lake was partially frozen (you can see on the picture- note that on the right hand side of the house, the lake finishes where the trees rises). While walking around the lake, the image of the house was reflecting to the water and completing the harmony. We stopped on one of the bowers to have lunch and Turkish tea. When we came to the house, I tried to step on the frozen part with one of my feet by standing on the ground on my other foot (it was a bad idea). Since it was not enough thick, the ice was broken and I was almost falling into the water. I am sure that it was very cold :). We took many photos which I still remember the event when I look on. Each one of our trips has many adventures on which I will add more by visiting every year.I suggest you that make yourself a favor and visit Golcuk. Be sure that you won`t even wish you haven`t gone. |
