Hall of the Two Sisters in Alhambra

The Hall of the Two Sisters (Sala de Dos Hermanas) did not receive this name because of a legend or an event that took place in it, as many tend to believe. The hall was so called because of two big twin marble flagstones that are part of the floor. This hall was in the centre of a series of chambers where the sultana and her family lived. Boabdil`s mother also lived there with her children, after being repudiated by Muley Hac
