| The Santa Maria Maggiore basilica is one of the four patriarchal churches of Rome, was built in the 15th century and its bell tower is the highest in Rome - 75 metres. In the central nave, among others, one can find the tomb of Gian Lorenzo Bernini, the greatest architect and designer of Rome.
