The photo was shot from the top of the dome of St. Peter`s. In order to get there, one has two ways: the easy one is by elevator and a stairway with 320 steps; the hard way means an 870 steps stairway. The 320 steps takes you thru the wall of the dome, a space not recommended for the ponderal, claustrophobic or those with heart illness because, usually, it`s only 60-70 cm wide. But, at the end, you will have Rome "at your feet"! :)) |
