Pieta of Anna Chromy beside the Salzburg cathedral.

The haunting sculpture is by a woman named Anna Chromy. According to
her website, "It was a special wish of the archbishop of Salzburg to install `Pieta` of
Anna Chromy in the southern arches of the cathedral, so that he could admire it
from the windows of his residence." Not only is it cool to look at but it also serves
as an example of the hint of creepiness in European religion.
