| Hi Torgeir Teigum,
I received a letter from Priscilla over Christmas [2011]. Priscilla and her husband, Jerry, are going to Norway May 15th - 29th, 2012. She was wondering if there was someone that she could contact when she gets there. I think she said she is staying with family from her fathers side of the family - I`m not sure from what town. She would like to meet some of the relatives from her mothers side [Svend Hansen Br |

| Hi Todd (and Rachid)
This is the Skjak Church (nice pic.). The other church in Skjak is the Nordberg church, situated in the community where Margareth Traedet came from. I`m the owner of the Traedet Farm now. You must be related to Priscilla Faye Peterson Strizic - she is on Facebook. Feel free to come to Skj |

| Wondering if this is the Church in Skjak. My maternal grandfather, Ole Larson Steinbakke (1855-1941) came from Skjak in 1873 and settled in Rock Creek Township, Dunn County, Wisconsin. Ole` wife, Margareth Olesdatter Traedet (1854-1933) came from Nordberg in 1881, They married in 1882 at old Meridean, Rock Creek Township. Ole was the last member of the family to use the surname Steinbakke. Ole and Margareth`s children used the surname Larson. The Steinbakke farm in Skjak was sold by Ole`s older brother, also named Ole in 1887-88. The new occupants used the farm name Steinbakke, but they were not related through the Steinbakke name which can be traced back to the mid 1600s. |
